Our client, a leading growth-focused private equity firm, is seeking an Investor Relations Associate to join their London-based team. This role is project management-focused, supporting investor relations initiatives and fundraising processes. It offers an excellent opportunity to work in a highly regarded firm, gaining exposure to fund management, investor reporting, and stakeholder engagement.

The Role

The Investor Relations Associate will play a key role in managing and coordinating investor relations activities, ensuring the seamless execution of fundraising initiatives and investor communications. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership, the investment team, and external stakeholders to ensure efficient project delivery and high-quality investor engagement materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project manage investor relations and fundraising activities, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met
  • Prepare and coordinate investor materials, including presentations, quarterly reports, due diligence requests, and fund updates
  • Work closely with internal teams (investment, finance, legal, and compliance) to ensure accurate and timely investor reporting
  • Support the execution of AGMs, investor meetings, and other key investor events
  • Track investor interactions, maintaining accurate records and ensuring a smooth flow of information across teams
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support investor relations strategy

Key Requirements:

  • 3+ years’ experience in investor relations or placement agent/private funds group
  • Strong understanding of private equity structures, fundraising processes, and investor reporting
  • Excellent project management skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in preparing high-quality investor materials
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively
  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
