Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer – FMCG
Salary: £41,000 per annum
Hours: 5 days over 7 on a rotating shift pattern (6am–2:30pm / 1:30pm–10pm / 10pm–6:30am). Saturdays on a rota basis – 1 in 4.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance across production and process machinery.
- Support installations and modifications to plant equipment as needed.
- Diagnose and resolve faults on process equipment, robotics, and electrical/mechanical systems.
- Ensure all work complies with site health & safety policies, using the correct permit-to-work systems.
- Work from technical manuals and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot effectively.
- Collaborate with the team to reduce downtime and improve equipment efficiency.
About You:
- You hold a recognised Electrical qualification and have your 17th or 18th Edition certification.
- You are confident working in fast-paced environments like food manufacturing or FMCG.
- You possess strong diagnostic skills and a methodical, hands-on approach.
- You are a team player with excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
- Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK are essential.
