Senior Civil Engineer

Location: Chelmsford

Salary: Up to £50,000

I am actively seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join a busy, successful Civil and Structural Engineering consultancy based in Chelmsford. You will assist in managing one of their busiest civil teams, with opportunities to be part of their growing division, focusing on highway and drainage infrastructure design.

It is essential for the candidate to have:

• A relevant Civil or Structural Engineering degree
• A minimum of 5 years relevant work experience
• Chartered or working towards a Chartership
• Experience with relevant software such as AutoCAD, MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage

Responsibilities include:

• Demonstrating experience and providing technical guidance
• Developing design strategies while overseeing and guiding junior staff
• Managing and developing projects and teams
