The Role
Business Development / Marketing Manager – Boutique Law Firm – Up to £70,000 salary
A boutique law firm with a market-leading litigation practice is looking for an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Manager. This is a high-impact role with genuine autonomy, direct exposure to senior leadership, and the opportunity to make a measurable difference to the firm’s growth.
What you’ll be doing
- Developing and executing the business development strategy for the firm
- Identifying new business opportunities and converting leads into revenue
- Working closely with partners to drive client engagement and practice initiatives
- Strengthening relationships with key clients and building new ones with target prospects
- Using market insight and competitor intelligence to shape strategic priorities
- Reporting to senior leadership with performance metrics, pipeline updates, and growth plans
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience in a business development/ marketing role within a law firm or professional services environment
- An understanding of litigation or dispute resolution
- Strong track record in delivering BD plans and managing successful pitch processes
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in dealing with senior stakeholders
- A proactive, strategic mindset with the ability to work independently
- Strong commercial awareness and the drive to exceed targets
