Product / Fund Controller – New Credit Hedge Fund Launch – Strong base and 50%+ Bonus

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of fund accounting and product control responsibilities in a fast-growing new credit hedge fund.




• Review fees, oversee corporate actions, manage the fund’s audit, deliver year-end financial statements, review NAV, and prepare investor reporting.




• Engage in elements of corporate accounting; support the build-out of new systems as the firm scales.




• Lead communications with fund administrators, auditors, prime brokers, and other external parties in a heavily outsourced model.




• As funding increases, help shape and grow the finance and accounting structure and team.

Qualifications

• ACA, CFA, or equivalent qualification.




• Experience in-house at a hedge fund or as a product controller within an investment bank.




• Strong academics and exceptional communication skills.




• Proactive, can-do attitude and ambition to grow with the business.

Compensation

A competitive base salary will be offered, with Year 1 bonuses expected to exceed 50%.
