Overview

Assistant Management Accountant role at ThreatSpike Labs. This is a hands-on finance role working across multiple subsidiaries in an exciting, high-growth SaaS business.

The Role

This is a hands-on finance role working across multiple subsidiaries in an exciting, high-growth SaaS business. You will:

  • Assist with billing, accounts payable/receivable, and expense processing.
  • Maintain accurate ledgers and ensure timely cash collection.
  • Carry out bank reconciliations, cash flow monitoring, and forecasting.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Input and manage financial data in Xero with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide financial insights to support decision-making and business growth.

First 3 Months

  • Assist with billing operations, ensuring invoices are issued accurately and on time.
  • Process supplier invoices, receipts, and employee expense claims.
  • Maintain accurate accounts payable and receivable ledgers.
  • Support cash collection activities and follow up with customers on outstanding payments.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and monitor daily cash flow.
  • Support month-end closing activities for multiple subsidiaries.

After 12 Months

  • Take ownership of month-end and year-end closing procedures across subsidiaries.
  • Prepare detailed cash flow forecasts and manage working capital effectively.
  • Deliver timely and accurate management reports with variance analysis.
  • Assist in budgeting processes and cost analysis for department heads.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

About You

  • Accounting experience, ideally within a SaaS, tech, or high-growth environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and accounting software (Xero essential).
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot) is an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Clear and confident communicator, comfortable collaborating across teams.
  • Strong understanding of management accounting principles.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage competing deadlines.
