Overview

A leading UK-based HealthCare organisation is seeking an experienced Workday Systems Manager to lead the ongoing development and optimisation of its Workday platform. This is a key role with strategic and operational responsibility, managing a small internal team and working closely with HR, Digital, and wider business functions.

Base pay range

Salary: £85,000 per annum

Location: Remote (UK-based) with occasional travel

Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a dedicated internal Workday team
  • Manage and enhance the Workday HCM environment, including Payroll, Integrations, Learning, Recruitment, Workday Help, and Business Processes
  • Oversee system upgrades, feature releases, and continuous improvements
  • Ensure data governance, compliance, and robust documentation
  • Align platform capabilities with business needs through stakeholder engagement

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience managing and configuring Workday, including Core HCM
  • Strong hands-on experience with Workday integrations (essential)
  • In-depth UK Payroll knowledge (highly desirable)
  • Experience managing teams and delivering complex projects
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
