Overview
Senior Support Engineer to work with a multi-national, industry-leading cyber security/defence company in Cheltenham. Active enhanced DV clearance is required.

Responsibilities
- Ensure critical systems remain operational by performing hands-on maintenance, monitoring availability, and implementing DevOps/SRE best practices.
- Support the development team in resolving issues, mitigating risks, and maintaining accurate documentation of faults and solutions.
- Maintain critical infrastructure and software and tackle complex challenges to deliver impactful, stable solutions.
- Work on exciting, varied, mission-critical projects at the forefront of the secure sector.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Active enhanced DV Clearance (West)
- Willing to work full-time on-site in Cheltenham when required
- Proven experience supporting and debugging complex live systems, including log monitoring with tools like Splunk or the ELK stack
- Proficiency in Linux server administration
- Experience with technologies such as Apache NiFi, MinIO, and AWS S3
- Skilled in managing and patching Java and Python applications
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker or Podman and deployment platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift
- Strong ability to manage tasks proactively while adapting to shifting priorities
