Field Service Engineer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer Marine to join our specialist engineering team, supporting customers in the marine sector across the UK, Ireland, and internationally. This is a permanent, full-time, field-based role with UK and international travel.

Location: Field-based (UK & International Travel)

Contract: Permanent, Full-time

Responsibilities

• Carry out diagnostics, repairs, and major overhauls of marine drive systems both on-site and in our workshop.




• Travel regularly to customer sites, including weekends and extended periods away from home, to minimise downtime and deliver high-quality technical support.

Qualifications

• Proven background as a Field Service Engineer in service and engineering (Marine Engineering, Royal Navy, Merchant Navy, Shipyards, etc.).




• Strong mechanical and electrical skills (HV systems, motors, inverters, control systems).




• Willingness to travel extensively and work unsociable hours when required.




• Valid driving licence.
