Quality Assurance Manager – Packaging

Overview

Quality Assurance Manager – Packaging role at a fast-paced packaging manufacturing site in North Lincolnshire. Reports to the Operations Director and leads quality systems and compliance, driving continuous improvement, audits, CAPA processes, and the Quality team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance with regulatory standards (ISO 9001, BRC, GMP, HACCP).
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Quality team; coordinate cross-functional collaboration to drive quality excellence.
• Plan, manage internal and external audits; identify non-conformities and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Monitor key quality metrics, participate in process improvements, and support manufacturing operations to meet product quality objectives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment, with a track record of driving quality improvements.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards including ISO 9001, BRC, GMP, and HACCP.
• Experience with QMS, audits, and CAPA processes; ability to lead a quality team at a fast-paced site.
