Automation Test Analyst

Overview

Our client is seeking a talented Automation Test Analyst with a passion for quality assurance and automation. In this hybrid role, you’ll be on-site in Winchester 1–2 days per week, contributing to the reliability and performance of software solutions. This is a fast-moving, collaborative team where your expertise in automated testing, API validation, and DevOps practices will support the technology transformation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts using frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, and Selenium
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to define test strategies and acceptance criteria
• Manage test cases, pipelines, and defect tracking using Azure DevOps
• Perform API testing using Postman to ensure full endpoint coverage
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning sessions
• Support performance testing activities (experience with LoadRunner is a plus)
• Continuously identify quality risks and test coverage gaps

Qualifications

• Experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation

Required Skills

• Solid hands-on experience with API testing using Postman
• Skilled in using one or more test automation frameworks: Playwright, Cypress, Selenium
• Strong grasp of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development life cycles
• Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail

Preferred Skills

• Experience with LoadRunner or other performance testing tools is advantageous
