Overview

Account Manager – Fine Wine & Whisky Brokers

Do you have deep relationships across the UK’s most prestigious Fine Wine & Whisky merchants? Have you sold into Berry Bros & Rudd, Justerini & Brooks, or Fine + Rare? Are you looking to join a pioneering luxury brand that’s redefining excellence in both wine and spirits?

MacGregor Black is proud to partner with one of the UK’s most iconic producers in Premium Beverages, as we search for an Account Manager – Fine Wine & Whisky Brokers. This is a permanent position based in London, with hybrid flexibility and regular event travel.

This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a strategically important channel — working with elite fine wine merchants, private client brokers, and specialist whisky houses to drive growth for a premium dual-brand portfolio. You’ll manage key accounts, develop bespoke activation plans, and act as a polished ambassador for two exceptional British drinks brands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow relationships with key Fine Wine & Whisky merchants and brokers — including Berry Bros & Rudd, Bordeaux Index, Goedhuis & Co, Justerini & Brooks, Corney & Barrow, and Fine + Rare.
  • Develop and own the annual commercial strategy for the broker and specialist trade channel, aligned with volume, revenue, and brand objectives.
  • Activate accounts through client tastings, private dinners, in-store visibility, and tailored brand engagement.
  • Work closely with internal teams on planning, forecasting, customer marketing, and reporting.
  • Actively recruit new specialist merchant partners and identify white space opportunities for luxury brand growth.
  • Represent the brand at industry events, trade shows, and tastings — maintaining the highest levels of professionalism and product knowledge.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and contribute to wider strategic planning with commercial and brand teams.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong track record in luxury wine and/or whisky sales, with direct experience managing Fine Wine & Whisky merchants and brokers.
  • Existing relationships with relevant accounts and private client buyers highly advantageous.
  • Commercially savvy with the ability to build and execute channel strategies, manage budgets, and report effectively.
  • Comfortable hosting tastings, high-end dinners, and bespoke events for discerning trade clients.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and time-management skills.
  • Self-motivated and confident managing high-profile accounts with minimal supervision.
