Chief Financial Officer

Overview

Mackie Myers are currently working with a growing, PE-backed hospitality group in East London, looking for a commercially minded CFO to partner with the leadership team as they scale. This is a hands-on role in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all financial strategy, reporting, and governance across the group
• Partner with the CEO and private equity investors on growth plans and performance tracking
• Implement scalable financial systems, processes, and controls
• Manage cash flow, forecasting, and budgeting to support expansion
• Oversee relationships with banks, auditors, and external advisors
• Build and develop a high-performing finance function

Personal Requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with senior finance leadership experience
• Track record in hospitality, leisure, or multi-site consumer sectors
• Experience working with private equity or investor-backed businesses
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to balance strategic and hands-on work
• Excellent communicator, confident in boardroom and operational settings
