About Vault
Vault is a cutting-edge wine technology platform designed to modernize wine investment, discovery, and digital cellar management. We combine blockchain-backed traceability with AI-powered cellar tools to serve both:
- B2C – Wine enthusiasts seeking smarter, more transparent wine discovery and portfolio tracking
- B2B – Wineries, distributors, and importers looking for secure provenance tracking and next-gen sales tools
We’re building the future of how fine wine is bought, sold, stored, and experienced — and we’re looking for the right tech leader to join us at the ground floor.
The Role
We are seeking a Co-Founder & Head of Technology to own the tech vision and execution from day one. This is an equity-only position for someone ready to build something transformative alongside a founding team with deep wine industry and commercial expertise.
You will:
- Lead the development of our MVP / beta product — from concept to launch
- Architect and oversee AI-driven features for cellar management, wine discovery, and market analytics
- Integrate blockchain technology for secure provenance and transparency
- Build and manage the technical roadmap, stack, and development team (initially lean, scaling post-funding)
- Conduct detailed MVP cost analysis and advise on efficient scaling strategies
- Own the ongoing technology strategy, including product evolution, integrations, and security
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in AI development and blockchain applications (ideally in traceability, supply chain, or fintech contexts)
- Strong web platform development skills — able to guide front-end, back-end, and integrations
- Comfortable working in a startup environment — adaptable, resourceful, and hands-on
- Track record of building and launching scalable MVPs
- Strategic thinker who can balance innovation with practicality
- Passion for wine, luxury goods, or investment platforms is a big plus
