Overview

Senior Java Development Manager Banking — TieTalent. This is a new and exclusive opportunity for a strong Java software development leader to join a front office software development team focused on Sales and Trading Derivatives platforms. This is a permanent, hybrid role in London with a base salary plus bonus and pension.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Front Office Derivatives IT Development team (6-8 developers) to deliver software from inception to deployment with a global system architecture that fully supports Front Office desks.
• Manage and mentor a hands-on development team with extensive Java/Python/C# expertise.
• Collaborate with front office stakeholders and trading systems to ensure alignment with business needs and regulatory requirements.
• Own the complete Front Office Derivatives technology stack and drive successful software delivery.

Qualifications

• Advanced core development experience in Java.
• Experience as a people manager with a track record of building successful development teams.
• Experience working with front office stakeholders and Front Office Trading systems.
• Knowledge of derivatives banking structures is preferred.
