We have an excellent opportunity to offer to a Trainee Associate Wealth Manager. The role will eventually lead to becoming a fully DipPFS qualified Wealth Manager.

The Role – Trainee Associate Wealth Manager:

The position will require an enthusiastic and driven graduate level candidate to deliver first class support to a Senior Wealth Manager and their growing team, whilst continuing the path of becoming a fully qualified Wealth Manager, fully supported by the company and its robust Training and Development. You must project a professional image and entrepreneurial spirit in both appearance and attitude along with providing quality support on time to agreed standards.

Duties include but are not exclusive to:

  • Attend Client Meetings with Wealth Managers
  • Manage Action Points from Client Meetings
  • Writing Post Approval Suitability letters and Business Submission
  • Analytics using FE Analytics and preparation of detailed Voyant reports
  • Drawdown Review Letters and Fund Switch Letters
  • Respond to Client Inquiries (Technical and administrative)
  • Identify Opportunities and Referrals from Existing Clients
  • Managing workflow through Asana software and Business Trackers
  • Facilitation of defined benefit transfers
  • Preparation of Illustrations and Electronic Business Submissions utilising the Blue—door software
  • Critical Yield Calculations
  • Manage Outsourced Letter Of Authority Process

The Person:

This is an interesting and challenging role that would suit an entrepreneurial, confident, motivated, highly organised and professional individual who enjoys using their initiative and who has a ‘can do’ working style.

You must have a degree and at least 3 years previous work experience and be strong in the following areas:

  • Relevant experience in Wealth Management or regulated Financial Services
  • Candidates with SJP related experience would be of particular interest
  • At least 2 CII RO exams
  • High level of attention to detail & excellent organisation skills
  • High standard of written & verbal communication skills
  • Highly IT literate, including advanced MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills
  • Keeps calm when faced with conflicting demands and handles these effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating a professional, proactive and positive attitude
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as working on shared goals as part of a team
  • Manages time effectively with the ability to multi-task
