Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Technical Sales Engineer, located in Llantrisant. The Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for identifying customer needs, providing technical support and developing sales strategies.
Facilitate a rolling 3 years sales and marketing plan for assigned customers that forms an integral part of the plan for future growth.
- Manage a portfolio of existing customers to maximize sales for the company. This will involve pricing, costs analysis and technical reviews.
- Prospect and deliver new business and customers in the assigned markets both at home and abroad.
- Plan and execute appropriate marketing activities to achieve sales growth. This may involve overseas exhibitions.
- The ability to operate in highly technical market sector with blue chip clients on a global basis.
- This is a full-time on-site role in the sales department at FSG Tool & Die Limited in Llantrisant. You will work as part of the Sales team within the company.
Qualifications
- Experience of strategic selling and account management.
- The ability to travel with some stays for domestic and overseas markets.
- Experience with interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail skills.
- Good communication and fault-finding skills.
- Ability to work alone and within a team.
- Apprenticeship or vocational training in Toolmaking or related field would be an advantage.
- Production/manufacturing experience with foil packaging, plastic cutting and moulding tools, in the food packaging and medical industries would also be an advantage.
- Full driving licence.
