Overview
One of the captive insurance managers in the Cayman Islands is seeking an Account Manager. The Account Manager will be responsible for preparing management and financial statements for several captive insurance accounts. In addition, responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Responsibilities
- Provide accounting services to a portfolio of captive insurance companies
- Prepare accurate management reports, forecasts and budgets
- Prepare board meeting materials and deliver impactful presentations of financial and other relevant information to key stakeholders
- Authorize and process captive account transactions
- Analyze complex financial transactions and make appropriate recommendations
- Manage and build relationships with clients and regulatory agencies
- Deliver a high level of client service
- Participate in ad-hoc projects
Qualifications
- A professional accounting designation (ACA, ACCA, CA, or CPA) is required
- Previous accounting experience in captive insurance or reinsurance, preferably from a Big 4 firm with an audit background is required
Compensation and Benefits
A competitive remuneration package that is commensurate with qualifications and experience in a range of approximately US$85,000+ and paid tax-free, relocation and work permit package (if required), a comprehensive medical scheme, pension plan (in line with Cayman Islands Labour Law), amongst other benefits.
