Monitor equipment performance, conduct root cause analyses (RCA), and implement strategies such as Condition Based Monitoring to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
Enhance preventive and predictive maintenance using tools like FMEA, Reliability Centred Maintenance, and condition monitoring technologies to drive Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
Take part in an on-call rota.
Ensure all activities comply with GMP, MHRA, and pharmaceutical standards; own and write Change Control, Deviations, maintain accurate maintenance records and support equipment validation.
Work with production, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve reliability issues and support equipment lifecycle management.
Drive cost-effective reliability improvements through data-driven decision-making, CI initiatives, and performance KPI tracking, including owning and implementing CAPA.
Provide technical guidance and training to the wider engineering team; act as SME during audits and investigations.
Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures.
Conduct periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard.
Perform general reactive maintenance tasks to equipment as required.
Maintain inventory records for equipment and supplies.
