Senior Principal Consultant – Cloud, Data, AI & ML

I’m currently working with a client in the insurance sector based in London. They’re building a new team and looking for a contract Data scientist.

What you’ll be doing:

• Develop AI-driven solutions for underwriting and portfolio analysis.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, underwriting and engineering teams.
• Contribute to the creation of a digital high net worth insurance offering.

Required skillset:

• 5+ years professional experience in Data science related roles
• Insurance industry exposure (must have)
• Python for traditional data science
• Generative AI experience (Gemini preferred)
• Cloud platforms: Azure and/or GCP
• Agile methodology familiarity
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement

Contract length – 6 months (Possibility for extension)

Location – London (hybrid – 2 days in office requirement)

Daily rate – £400 (outside IR35)
