• Department: Accounts Advisory
• Location: Dunfermline
• Compensation: £50,000 – £65,000 / year

Key Responsibilities

• Review partnership and corporate accounts and associated tax computations for healthcare clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance prior to sign-off by the Director/Partner.
• Prepare management accounts with detailed narrative commentary and bespoke reporting tailored to healthcare businesses.
• Provide bookkeeping services and respond to day‑to‑day queries for healthcare clients.
• Manage HMRC, PAYE, and VAT matters for the healthcare portfolio, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Advise healthcare clients on ad‑hoc accounting, tax, and financial planning matters.
• Supervise a client portfolio, managing workflow, account review, client meetings, invoicing and statutory deadlines.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships within the healthcare sector.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

• Knowledge of income tax, corporate tax and VAT and their impact on accounts and client affairs.
• Understanding of partnership, limited liability and company accounts statutory and technical aspects.
• Healthcare industry experience preferred.

Communication Skills

• Exceptional presentation and communication skills enabling clear conveyance of complex information.

Adaptability & Innovation

• Adaptability to changing business needs and creative problem‑solving.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification requirement: ACCA/CA
