IT Infrastructure Engineer(Security)

IT Infrastructure Engineer – Hedge Fund – Salary up to £80,000 + Bonus

Responsibilities

• Creation of technical governance documentation, such as low‑level designs and technical specifications.
• Creation of security‑focused technical specifications for Windows environments.
• Write and maintain documentation on Active Directory Certificate Services, IIS, Active Directory Domain Services and cryptography.
• Design systems to meet security principles and compliance requirements.
• Administer internal systems following industry best practice.
• Demonstrate good problem‑management ownership and prevent SLA breaches under Incident/Problem Management processes.
• Contribute to the development of IT processes and procedures to enhance service transition and service operation lifecycle stages.
• Work in a network heavily segregated by firewalls, with a strong understanding of firewall rules.
• Help build products aiming for zero findings on penetration testing.
• Manage Windows workloads running in AWS.

Qualifications and Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working knowledge and experience.
• Strong understanding and appreciation of working on business‑critical production infrastructure, applications and database services.
• Experience working in a highly regulated environment.
• Experience with Active Directory Certificate Services, IIS, Active Directory Domain Services, and cryptography.
• Desirable: Good knowledge of MS SQL.
• Desirable: Experience using Microsoft 365 Security Controls.
