I’m partnering with a fast-growing, venture-backed SaaS company that’s transforming how field teams operate across industries like utilities, construction, and other safety-critical sectors.
They’re looking for Forward Deployed Engineers to work directly with enterprise clients, embedding their platform and delivering tailored, high-impact solutions.
This is a hands‑on, hybrid role that blends engineering, product thinking, and customer delivery. You’ll be working with clients on‑site to integrate technology, automate workflows, and drive measurable business impact — all while helping shape the future of an AI‑enabled platform used globally.
What You’ll Do
- Work directly with enterprise clients across the UK (travel required, especially early on).
- Prototype and deliver custom solutions that integrate the platform with client data and workflows.
- Design and implement automation and intelligent workflow tools.
- Act as a solution architect in the field, translating customer needs into real technical solutions.
- Influence the roadmap by feeding back insights from customer deployments.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and customer success teams to deliver measurable impact.
- Hands‑on experience in software engineering (ideally full‑stack: React, Django, Python).
- Experience solving complex customer problems and delivering real‑world solutions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, comfortable engaging from field teams to exec level.
- Adaptable, entrepreneurial mindset, thrives in fast‑paced, high‑growth environments.
- Interest in AI or automation (can be learned in the role).
- Experience in construction, utilities, or other safety‑critical sectors is a plus.
Location
UK, with customer‑site travel; London based preferably.
