Senior Radio Frequency Engineer

Senior RF Engineer | London (3 days In office) | Up to £80,000 | Defence | SC Clearance

Our defence client designs and manufactures advanced RF components for secure communications. They are seeking a Senior RF Engineer to support the design, simulation, testing, and optimisation of RF circuits and subsystems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop RF components and subsystems
• Perform RF simulation, modelling, and lab-based testing
• Troubleshoot and optimise performance parameters (gain, noise figure, power, etc.)
• Work collaboratively with systems, electronics, and firmware teams
• Produce technical documentation and test reports

Requirements

• Strong hands‑on RF engineering background
• Proficiency with RF simulation tools (e.g., ADS, HFSS, CST)
• Experience using RF lab test equipment (VNAs, spectrum analysers, signal generators)
• Understanding of microwave design principles
• Active SC Clearance or eligibility to obtain (UK residency required)

Offer

• Up to £80,000 salary (DOE)
• Hybrid model: 3 days on‑site in London
