Hybrid working as standard: 2 days a week in the office, the other 3 days remote (or office if you prefer)

To give you some idea of the scope & scale of this role, we are around 320 employees predominantly based in the UK and our IT team consists of this role plus one other.

• We started Goodlord because we wanted to make renting simple and transparent for everyone involved: the agent, the landlord, and the tenant. We knew Generation Rent would lead to more tenants, with higher digital expectations and we were confident we could provide a solution
• Like all scale-ups it’s been a bit of a rollercoaster journey, but we’re now stronger than ever, with around 3,000 letting agents using the platform, exciting and varied products and 350+ Goodlordians across the group supporting the mission!

The Opportunity:

• Leading ISO compliance activities, audits and security documentation.
• Developing and delivering security awareness training and guidance to staff.
• Leading the response to all internal IT and corporate security incidents.
• Managing security reviews and compliance for all third‑party vendors.
• Handling external security audit requests and customer due diligence.
• Managing employee hardware procurement, deployment and security. We have a mixture of devices including Chromebooks, Windows, Linux and Mac.

What we need from you:

• You have hands‑on experience managing corporate IT infrastructure and security.
• You have experience developing security policies and conducting company‑wide security training.
• You have maintained ISO 27001 or similar compliance frameworks previously.
• You are proficient in the management and administration of Google workspace.
• You can manage vendor relationships and coordinate with external auditors.
• You are comfortable balancing operational IT support with strategic security work.
• You are pragmatic about security, protecting the business without hindering productivity.
