FIRE & SECURITY PROJECT MANAGER

Our clients include Principal M&E Contractors, Housing Associations, Local Authorities, Facilities Management and Property Management companies. Role Summary
Manage the full project life cycle – from start‑up through delivery to project completion – ensuring projects are delivered within agreed limits for time, cost and quality.
Job Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, monitor, control and close projects.
- Create and update plans and work breakdowns as appropriate.
- Manage day‑to‑day project tasks.
- Lead project meetings with clients, suppliers and third parties.
- Communicate regular project updates internally and to clients.
- Negotiate internally and externally to resolve project risks and issues.
- Manage project scope and change control.
- Produce and maintain project initiation and management documents.
- Ensure consistent and reliable resourcing requirements.
- Be hands‑on when required to ensure client satisfaction.
- Carry out full handover to client on project completion.
Knowledge / Experience Required
- Detailed knowledge of project management principles.
- Considerable knowledge and experience of the full project life cycle and project management methodologies.
- Relevant qualifications: FIA, NSI, LPCB, C&G, etc.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work openly and cooperatively within project teams and with external parties.
- Self‑motivation and effective time management; ability to motivate and advise others to schedule their workloads.
- Good presentation skills; able to present complex ideas to technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Experience managing multiple simultaneous activities and leading project teams.
- Previous experience with systems such as CCTV/Access Control.
General Requirements
- Experience within the construction industry, or/and Fire & Security systems.
- Clear record with zero criminal convictions and meet requirements to pass a CRB / DBS check and the full screening process required in the security industry.

- Salary dependent on experience – £40,000‑£45,000 DOE plus commission scheme.
