Role Overview
Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the Business Development Officer will support the GBS Business Development Team. They will develop and maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders and identify new partnerships with student recruitment agencies.

Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain solid relationships with company stakeholders and customers.
- Identify and create partnerships with new potential student recruitment agencies or partners.
- Support the programme management team members to maximise enrolment.
- Actively assist the team in achieving the student recruitment target for each intake.
- Analyse customer feedback data to determine whether customers are satisfied with company products and services.
- Provide insight into product development and competitive positioning.
- Attend business meetings and provide training to new recruiting partners regularly.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.
- Get actively involved in internal events for brand marketing.
Qualifications
Essential
- Demonstrable experience working as a Business Development Officer or in a similar role within the educational sector.
- Good sales, negotiation and persuasive skills and an excellent people person.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Effective communication skills at all levels.
- Good business acumen.
- Accuracy and detail‑oriented.
- Ability to be adaptable and flexible as required.
Desirable
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Administration, Marketing, Finance or a related field.
