Audit Manager

Job DescriptionTPF Recruitment is recruiting for an Audit Manager to join a fantastic firm of chartered accountants based in the KT area.

You will work primarily in an audit-focused role, managing a portfolio of corporate clients across various sectors, sizes, and complexities, from businesses with £10m turnovers to listed companies and multinational groups.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing assignments according to the firm’s procedures, including client communication, costs, and billing.
• Ensuring audit quality and assisting with internal and external quality assurance processes.
• Briefing staff, supervising work, and providing on-the-job training and appraisals.
• Completing work within budget and addressing any issues with the assignment partner and client promptly.
• Maintaining excellent client service and liaising throughout the year.
• Coordinating with other departments to meet client needs.
• Developing knowledge of the firm’s specialist services and undertaking special projects when appropriate.
• Performing review and completion procedures, attending final client meetings, and ensuring timely delivery of final accounts and reports.
• Overseeing ad hoc advisory projects.
• Ensuring the profitability of work in progress and timely billing.
• Maintaining technical knowledge through reading and courses, fulfilling CPD requirements.

Requirements

• ACA or ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience.
• Minimum of 4 years’ practical experience in a similar practice role.
• Experience with FRS102 and/or IFRS.
• Proven experience in planning, executing, and finalizing statutory audit assignments.

Benefits

• Salary between £55,000 and £68,000, negotiable based on experience.
