Locum Opportunity – Mental Health Treatment Role (Humberside)
Location: Humberside (primarily Hull, with travel across the region to Crown and Magistrates Courts)
About the Role: We’re looking for an experienced mental health professional to join a specialist team working within Liaison & Diversion and Reconnect services. This role involves assessing individuals in court and making recommendations for ongoing treatment as part of a suspended sentence plan. The aim is to provide therapeutic interventions for first‑time or low‑level offenders, helping them engage in treatment rather than serving a custodial sentence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients in court and recommend appropriate treatment plans
- Deliver mental health interventions across various bases in the region and potentially online
- Work collaboratively with Liaison & Diversion and Reconnect teams to support rehabilitation
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in Adult Mental Health and/or Forensic settings
- Ability to provide mental health therapy and clinical interventions (not purely assessments)
- Court experience is desirable but not essential
