We’ve partnered with one of the UK’s most exciting scale-ups in the Insuretech space over the past few years. Following a successful profitability push, they’re now entering a growth phase and expanding their product offering.
As a Lead/Senior+ Software Engineer you’ll help drive technical direction and architecture within a product-led squad environment, rotating across business domains. This is an opportunity to gain exposure to cloud-native architecture, contribute to new platform initiatives, and accelerate your path to seniority.
They’re building out high traffic, scalable, cloud-native, microservices using Python with FastAPI, gRPC GraphQL, AWS (EKS). You’d lead a rotating squad with exposure to multiple domains and technical challenges around developing complex, high volume, public facing applications used by many.
This opportunity blends scale-up security with engineering maturity, and long-term growth potential.
What you’ll be doing:
- Owning the design and development of scalable backend systems
- Working across rotating product squads with full domain exposure
- Deploying and owning your code in production (AWS EKS)
- Collaborating with other product and engineering leads to solve complex problems
