Senior Commercial Manager
Location: Remote (occasional travel to Manchester or London)
Contract: 3–6 months (potential extension)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to join our team on an interim basis. You will play a key role as Commercial Lead on major public sector bids, ranging from £25 M to £500 M. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high‑value, complex deals within a dynamic and fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead commercial activities on large‑scale public sector bids.
- Review and negotiate client contracts and supplier agreements.
- Ensure governance compliance and prepare documentation for divisional and group‑level approvals.
- Conduct risk analysis and pricing assessments for bids.
- Represent the commercial function in executive‑level meetings.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in commercial management within large‑scale bids or complex projects.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Ability to manage governance processes and engage confidently with senior stakeholders.
- Financial acumen and understanding of risk management.
- Background in legal or finance is advantageous but not essential.
