Base pay range
Hybrid: 3 days in Central London / 2 WFH
Clients: Manufacturing, Engineering Consultancies, Renewables, Energy, Infrastructure, Automation, Robotics, Industrial Tech
The engineering sector is evolving fast — from renewable energy to advanced manufacturing — and we’re looking for an Engineering Recruiter who wants to grow a high-impact desk within this thriving industry. You’ll partner with organisations that are building everything from sustainable infrastructure to cutting‑edge mechanical systems.
If you enjoy working closely with clients, thrive in technical markets and love turning complex briefs into great hires, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
- Manage recruitment across key engineering disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Design, Automation)
- Work directly with engineering managers, project leads & technical directors
- Build a strong talent network across permanent and/or contract markets
- Take ownership of your desk — developing relationships & winning new business
- Write clear, compelling job ads and technical outreach messages
- Stay close to industry trends across manufacturing, energy & infrastructure
- Deliver a consultative approach to both clients and candidates
What We’re Looking For
- ✔ Experience in engineering, technical, or industrial recruitment
- ✔ Understanding of core engineering roles and hiring processes
- ✔ Confident communicator able to build trust with technical stakeholders
- ✔ Highly organised, proactive and commercially minded
- ✔ Ability to grow and manage your own market niche
- ✔ Motivated by delivering quality, not just volume
- ✔ Curious about new technologies and the future of engineering
