Interim Finance Director | Social & Supported Housing
Our client, a London-based Housing Charity, is looking for an interim Finance Director for a 4-6 month project (potential extension). The role focuses on reviewing, creating, and improving Management Information reporting; partnering with Finance, IT, and other department heads to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting, training teams, and enhancing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, create and improve MI reporting.
- Partner with Finance and other departments to understand and explain variances.
- Review KPI’s and ensure accurate reporting to housing regulation requirements.
- Ensure effective internal controls and processes in line with Housing Regulations.
- Train Finance team and other stakeholders to improve accuracy and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with IT and implementation consultants on housing system migrations and report accuracy.
Ideal Candidate
- Senior Finance Interim with substantial experience in Social Housing and integrated Housing Databases.
- Strong ability to explain the ‘why’ behind financial metrics.
- Experience reviewing and creating KPI’s.
- Demonstrated success in ensuring effective internal controls in housing organisations.
- Proven track record of training Finance teams on best practice.

- Location: West London (remote senior interims accepted)
- Day rate: £375 – £500 per day (ideal £400–425)
- Contract length: 4–6 months (possible extension)
