We’re looking for a Commercial Finance Business Partner to join our leading FMCG client and support their International business – driving profitable growth, influencing strategic decisions and shaping commercial performance across three exciting markets.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Partner with the International teams, providing insight, challenge and proactive commercial recommendations.
  • Evaluate Joint Business Plans, ensuring strong ROI and commercial feasibility.
  • Lead promotional plan evaluation, using data to optimise spend, mix and margin.
  • Support pricing strategy, ensuring delivery against price, mix and profitability targets.
  • Deliver clear, concise period‑end reporting and commercial commentary to senior stakeholders.
  • Join key customer or distributor meetings to support commercial negotiations when required.
  • Own the S&OP commercial forecasting process, driving accountability and accuracy across regions.
  • Lead the commercial Budget and Strategic Plan cycles.
  • Review monthly performance, drivers and variances, ensuring clear understanding and alignment on risks and opportunities.
  • Provide key inputs into global Sales Demand Reviews to support volume forecasting and supply planning.
  • Own the P&L for the International markets, ensuring accurate income recognition, trade spend and discount management.
  • Manage associated commercial balance sheet accounts with rigour and financial discipline.
  • Drive improvements in tools, reporting, forecasting models and commercial processes.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, including accruals, rebates and customer/distributor financial management.

Your Skills & Experience

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Strong FMCG experience (highly preferred).
  • Proven commercial business partnering experience with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • High numerical and analytical ability; confident working with complex datasets.
  • Excellent communication skills – able to translate data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Ability to work at pace, manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail, curiosity and a drive to understand underlying performance drivers.
  • A collaborative approach and strong stakeholder relationship‑building skills across functions and geographies.
