DevOps Engineer – Observability & Reliability

Location: Newcastle – 5 days on site

The Opportunity

Ensure complex, distributed systems run reliably at scale. You’ll join a fast-growing, elite engineering team where operational challenges are solved with engineering-grade solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Build CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows
• Design observability, monitoring, and alerting that engineers trust under pressure
• Automate infrastructure and operational tasks
• Collaborate with engineers to improve system architecture and reliability

What We Expect

• Degree from a Russell Group university or equivalent
• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or cloud engineering roles
• Strong practical experience with ELK Stack, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, etc.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, fault tolerance, and cloud architecture
• Engineering mindset — you write code to solve operational problems
