Senior EPCM Process, Quality and PMO Consultant Mechanical Engineer (oil & gas)

AHT is seeking a senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and deployment of EPCM workflows, SOPs, QMS, PMO structures, and performance dashboards for oil and gas projects. The role focuses on immediate implementation using proven, ready-made process packages. This is a remote role; engagement can be hourly consultancy or retainer.

Base pay range

$30.00/hr – $55.00/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deploy end-to-end EPCM workflows across engineering, procurement, quality, and project management.
• Provide ready-made SOPs, QMS documentation, PMO frameworks, and governance tools suitable for oil and gas EPCM.
• Establish PMO structures including controls, reporting standards, and dashboards.
• Align processes with international standards and client requirements.
• Support leadership in stabilizing and scaling AHT’s EPCM operating model.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
• Strong EPCM experience in oil and gas projects with verifiable references.
• Proven track record delivering full process packages that are deployable immediately.
• Deep understanding of EPCM governance, quality systems, and PMO best practices.
• Ability to work independently with senior stakeholders in a consulting environment.
• Excellent communication in English.
