A market leading organization in the Sheffield area requires a Technical Lead/Architect to join its growing and successful team!

Qualifications

• Substantial commercial experience in software development using C#/.NET.
• Experience of leading on technical decisions.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable with git version control.
• Process driven.
• Flexible approach and positive attitude.
• Experience with as many of the following as possible:
• ORM (NHibernate, Entity Framework, etc.)
• SQL Server or other relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• DevExpress components (Desirable).
• Familiar with developer tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence.

Duties

• Being technical lead for a number of leading products.
• Setting and maintaining architectural standards.
• Writing and reviewing code.
• Creating a long-term strategy for modernising the code base.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Building strong relationships with customers (will include customer site visits, conference visits and support at product user groups).
