Salary: £32k+ PkgLocation: SwindonRegion: South West

We are currently seeking a Section Engineer to work for a main Civil Contractor who works across the UK specializing in a variety of civil engineering sectors with a primary focus on Rail based projects. The role will be based in the Swindon region with the candidate expected to travel intermittently to various project sites when required.

Project: Minor Works of SAF Frameworks for main client Network Rail

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce RAMS and/or ensure that the ones produced by subcontractors demonstrate and maintain safe systems of work and maintain environmental standards throughout the project.
• Ensure that the subcontractor contractual programmes are running on time and without issue.
• Monitor the progress of work against programme and advise on acceleration measures to retrieve any lost time.
• Be pro-active in obtaining design information with required time-scales for production work.
• Ensure that all subcontractors and suppliers’ plans and procedures are compatible with the client’s obligations and responsibilities.
