Senior Project Manager

Salary: £85,000 basic salary plus competitive benefits package.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to take the lead on a high-profile £25m school project in Sheffield, working with a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage a flagship educational project from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as Project Lead on a £25m school construction scheme.
• Manage day-to-day project delivery, ensuring timelines, budget, and quality standards are met.
• Report directly to a visiting Contracts Manager, escalating issues as required.
• Coordinate and manage sub-contractors, consultants, and project teams.
• Oversee all aspects of site operations, including health & safety, compliance, and client liaison.
• Drive programme efficiency, cost control, and risk management.
• Ensure project milestones are delivered in line with contract obligations and stakeholder expectations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager within the construction sector, preferably with Tier 1 Main Contractor experience.
• Strong experience managing large-scale educational projects (£20m+).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Thorough understanding of construction contracts, H&S regulations, and quality standards.
• Ability to take ownership of complex projects and drive them to successful completion
