Senior Solicitor – Banking and Finance – Manchester or Birmingham

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior or Principal Associate to join a market-leading Asset Based Lending (ABL) practice, consistently ranked in the top tiers nationally. The team advises on some of the largest and most complex ABL transactions in the market, acting for an impressively broad range of lender clients and continuing on a strong growth trajectory.

The Role

You will be part of a highly integrated national banking team, offering the opportunity to help shape the local ABL offering while benefiting from the depth, structure and support of a well-established national platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Advising lenders and borrowers on the full lifecycle of ABL transactions
• Drafting and negotiating facility agreements and security documents (LMA and non-LMA)
• Negotiating intercreditor arrangements and back-to-back funding structures
• Drafting and maintaining market-leading precedent documentation
• Advising on in-life matters including waivers, resets, amendments and restatements

About You

• Senior Associate or Principal Associate with strong Asset Based Lending or banking & finance experience
• Confident managing complex transactions and taking lead responsibility
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills across facility and security documentation
• Commercial, client-focused and collaborative in approach
• Interested in contributing to team growth and client development
