Join our dynamic and multidisciplinary Water Team as a Senior Hydraulic Modeller in our rapidly growing Edinburgh and Glasgowoffices u2013 whilst also taking advantage of our flexible hybrid working model.
At AECOM, weu2019re at the forefront of innovation, delivering an exceptional portfolio of water programmes and projects through long-term partnerships with key clients. These include local government, contractors, charities and water companies. In this role, you will be one of the lead technical team members supporting junior members to deliver top quality projects.

We have a collaborative approach to working both within our team and more broadly developing our relationships with the Energy, Environmental and Transportation sectors. We are a dynamic team looking to grow and support the Water Teams across our UK offices.
_Hereu2019s what youu2019ll do:_ Lead on developing the technical approach for modelling, hydrology and flooding projects u2013 supported by the wider team. Deliver technically challenging projects for key clients. Support the team fulfilling a thorough quality assurance process. Provide clients with technical input supporting them make informed decisions. Provide mentoring for junior team members, helping them develop and progress towards chartered status.
Become part of our dynamic Water business, which boasts around 700 experts across the UK & Ireland, including 60 team members that sit in Edinburgh that youu2019d work directly with.Collaborate with top-tier engineers and consultants to deliver a variety of captivating projects, from small initiatives to large-scale ventures, all the way from concept to completion.

**Qualifications**
**Ready to push the limits of whatu2019s possible?**
_Hereu2019s what weu2019re looking for:_ A degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Environmental Sciences, GIS, Geography, or similar subject. Chartered member or approaching chartership with ICE or CIWEM. Experience in Hydraulic Modelling, GIS or Data Analysis, in particular ArcGIS. Detailed understanding of hydrology in the UK and worldwide. Experienced in fluvial, pluvial and integrated Hydraulic Modelling, in particular Innovyze ICM or Floodmodeller/Tuflow. Experience being the technical lead on hydrology and hydraulic modelling projects. Proven experience in water consultancy.
