Python Backend Engineer — REST APIs & PostgreSQL

• Strong proficiency in Python (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI)
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, including performance tuning and indexing
• Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall)
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of ORM tools (e.g., SQLAlchemy, Django ORM)
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
• Understanding of backend security best practices
• Experience with unit testing and debugging

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Knowledge of containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Exposure to microservices architecture
• Basic understanding of frontend technologies

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Professional backend development experience using Python
