We are looking for a Part Time Credit Controller to join a reputable organisation and market leader. This Part Time permanent role based in Burton-On-Trent offers the opportunity to contribute to effective financial management within the Accounting & Finance department.
Our client is a respected organisation in Burton-On-Trent who are looking to hire a Part Time Credit Controller (4 days a week) in a newly created position. Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the credit control process to ensure timely payments.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
- Communicate effectively with clients to address payment queries.
- Prepare and issue invoices and statements.
- Monitor overdue accounts and implement appropriate collection procedures.
- Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to improve processes.
- Generate reports on outstanding debts and payment statuses.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar credit control or financial role.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication skills for managing client relationships.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- A solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Adaptability to a hybrid working environment.
