SAP Solutions Architect

Nottingham – 5 days per week in the office preferred

6 Months contract – Inside IR35

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and integration of SAP modules including FI, MM, SD, Logistics, CAR, and BW.
• Confidently engage with senior business leaders and Enterprise Architects to align IT strategy with commercial goals.
• Drive architectural decisions with minimal oversight, taking responsibility for the full solution lifecycle.
• Translate complex technical options into clear, actionable recommendations tailored to both technical teams and C-suite executives.
• Work closely with the SAP Center of Excellence (CoE) and cross-functional IT teams to ensure best practices and system integrity.

Experience required

• Proven track record as a Solution Architect with deep knowledge across the core SAP suite (Finance, Supply Chain, and Analytics).
• Previous experience working within large-scale retail systems or complex healthcare distribution environments is highly preferable.
• Ability to present multiple solution options, highlighting risks, costs, and benefits for different organisational audiences.
• A “hands-on” architectural approach with a focus on creating documentation and frameworks that enable delivery teams to succeed.
