Mechanical Design Engineer

We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join an established, dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing effective design solutions to technical problems within a design office environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Produce detailed design drawings using Inventor suitable for construction in a timely manner.
• Collaborate on larger projects, ensuring the accuracy of colleagues’ work and identifying potential discrepancies.
• Train and support less experienced staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Conduct site visits and surveys as required, while maintaining a working knowledge of statutory regulations and codes of practice.
• Design and detail both bespoke and standard equipment, ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Inventor and 3D design software.
• Strong understanding of statutory regulations and codes of practice, including EN standards and CE marking.
• Experience in designing bespoke and standard equipment (highly desirable).
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and other departments.
• Strong ability to produce accurate and detailed design drawings.

In return you’ll receive a salary of up to 42k + Paid Overtime + Flexible working.
