Mechanical Project Manager

DataX are partnering with a hyperscale data centre developer delivering advanced AI-driven infrastructure in northern Norway. Due to project expansion, they are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead the delivery of critical Mechanical systems on a major 230MW hyperscale campus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate mechanical construction activities across site
• Review and validate designs, submittals and technical documentation
• Manage interfaces with Electrical, Controls and CSA teams
• Oversee QA, inspections, testing and commissioning
• Track progress, identify risks and support recovery planning
• Drive a strong safety-first and quality-led culture

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering mechanical packages on data centre or mission-critical projects
• Strong knowledge of cooling systems, plant infrastructure, piping and building services
• Experience managing contractors and complex site interfaces
• Degree-qualified in Mechanical / Building Services Engineering (or equivalent)
• Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
