Residential Conveyancer / FILEX / Solicitor / Lawyer

Are you an experienced conveyancer who thrives on high-quality work without high-stress micromanagement?
A highly respected and forward-thinking regional law firm is looking for a Residential Conveyancer to join their growing team.
This is not a role for a solicitor or partner-level candidate, and there’s no expectation of a management track just good, honest conveyancing work for a firm that values quality over quantity.
The Role
You’ll handle a consistent caseload of good-quality conveyancing files from happy clients and reputable referrers (no cheap bulk referral work here). Depending on whether you have support from a dedicated paralegal, the expectation is:
- 18 – 25 new matters / month
Support teams include both onboarding and post-completion, so you can focus on doing what you do best managing the transaction from start to finish.
Who You Are
You’re confident, friendly, and experienced in residential conveyancing. You might be a Licensed Conveyancer, Legal Executive (FILEX), with at least 3 years of solid, hands‑on experience.
Here’s what else we were looking for
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- Strong billing history and good work ethic
- Ability to multitask, stay organised, and keep calm under pressure
- Great with IT and comfortable with modern conveyancing systems
- If working remotely: previous, proven experience in a fully remote conveyancing role is essential
Location & Flexibility
- Fully remote, hybrid, or office-based in Salisbury, Andover, Amesbury, or Fordingbridge
- Remote candidates must be able to hit the ground running without close supervision
- If assigned a paralegal, a willingness to help train them is appreciated (we have a fantastic internal programme for that)
