The Role

We are seeking an HSE Advisor to join a leading mechanical contractor on a shutdown at a chemicals site in South Wales. This role will involve site-based supervision of health and safety procedures, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine site inspections to ensure safe working practices are followed.
• Support toolbox talks, site inductions, and safety briefings.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with HSE procedures, risk assessments, and method statements (RAMS).
• Work closely with site management and trades teams to promote a strong safety culture.
• Assist in incident reporting and investigations, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Liaise with client representatives and subcontractors regarding HSE compliance.

Requirements

• NEBOSH
• Background in Industrial and Mechanical Engineering
