Hours: 44 hours per week

Salary: £65,000 OTE (including £35,000 basic plus bonus)

Role: The Business Manager serves as the driving force behind the success of our sales team, supporting sales, coaching, development, and financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Identify suitable funding and insurance options for customers while maintaining compliance and treating customers fairly.
• Understand all aspects of financial and insurance product regulations to ensure accurate information is given when negotiating a vehicle sale.
• Monitor finance and insurance performance against expectations, ensuring a compliant sales process.
• Coach and develop the team’s skills to achieve business objectives.
• Assist management in planning, forecasting trends, and revising dealership plans on an ongoing basis.
• Acquire high-level product knowledge to competently answer all customer queries and log all activity to monitor and measure outcomes and provide regular feedback to management.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience in the automotive industry with a proven track record of coaching and developing sales teams.
• Strong passion for providing first‑class customer care and engagement.
• Experience monitoring financial performance against budget with ability to identify and address shortfalls.
• Solid understanding of financial and insurance product regulations and compliance.
• Well‑organised, process‑oriented, with a hands‑on approach.
• Full UK driving licence.
