We are seeking a dedicated and mission-driven Sustainability Consultant (BREEAM Assessor) to join our well-established team. Day-to-Day

Your daily activities will include:

  • Conducting sustainability assessments and certifications for various projects.
  • Engaging with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored sustainability solutions.
  • Preparing detailed reports and documentation to support planning and technical requirements.
  • Collaborating with colleagues in a supportive and professional team environment.
  • Staying updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure the highest standards of service.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering BREEAM assessments and other sustainability certifications such as HQM, Fitwel, and SKA.
  • Developing and implementing sustainability strategies for projects across various sectors.
  • Preparing sustainability certification reports for both planning and technical purposes.
  • Managing client engagement and project delivery to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve project goals.

Qualifications

  • Qualified in BREEAM certification with a proven track record of certifying buildings.
  • Knowledge of or qualifications in other certifications (e.g., HQM, Fitwel, SKA) is desirable.
  • Degree or postgraduate qualification in a related discipline.
  • Membership or qualification through a professional body such as ISEP, IEMA, CIBSE, or LCC.
  • Strong commercial awareness of building regulations, the planning process, and the construction industry.
  • Excellent numeracy, interpersonal, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment.
  • A valid driving license with fewer than 3 penalty points.
